Background: Catherine graduated medicine from UNSW in 1984 and went on to complete training with the RACGP Family Medicine Program.

Clinical: She has completed extra training in Drug and Alcohol medicine (2011); Family Planning NSW (Certificate in Reproductive medicine)  ( 2012) and IUD insertions ( 2016) and Aboriginal Health.

Professional roles: She currently works parttime a GP in Sth Cronulla, as a medical officer for Family Planning NSW and as a Judicial Officer for NSW Civil  Administrative Tribunal ( Guardianship Division) 

Personal interests/Life Experience
She spent 20 yrs in the Former Soviet Union ( Kazakhstan) as a christian medical missionary where she ran public health programs, GP education and produced patient education material. She speaks Russian and Kazakh. She loves theatre, playing the guitar and kayaking and spending time with her family.
