Dr Bala has a special interest in skin cancer medicine, and provides skin cancer checks to our community every Tuesday.
If you are due for your annual skin check, please make an appointment with our receptionist. Dr Bala is accredited to perform skin excisions and minor surgeries where required. After your skin check, we will be able to quote you on this surgery if required.
Alternative Medicine

Dr Mohamed has been treating selected patients who suffer from chronic conditions with alternative treatments, where other treatments have failed to provide relief from symptoms.
These treatments are most often prescribed to those suffering from conditions such as Osteoarthritis, back pain, Neuropathic pain, Fibromyalgia, Endometriosis, Anxiety, Depression and/or mood disorders, Insomnia, PTSD, ADHD, Inflammatory bowel disease and Cancer related symtoms.

Our practice is located inside Kiama Village, and parking is available on site. We request all new patients attend 15 minutes prior to their appointment to complete a registration form.

Fees
Our General Practitioners welcome all patients with or without a Medicare Card. Dr Linda Moore and Dr Jacqueline Wong are currently bulk billing all patients.
Dr Abdel Mohamed is currently bulk billing all standard appointments, however fees apply for Alternative Medicine consultations.
Initial - $135 with $76.95 rebate
Follow up- $75 with $39.75 rebate
Dr Jonathan Bala works on a mixed billing structure. Please see below for a list of fees for his services as of the 27th of Feb, 2023.
Please note, all new patients will be charged at non-concession rates for their first visit. This includes pensioners, concession card holders, and patients who have not attended the practice in 24 months.
The below fees also include children consultations. Children will continue to be bulk billed for vaccinations. A $10 discount applies for Health Care Card holders.
Level A - $50. Rebate $17.90 short consultation under 5 minutes
Level B - $82. Rebate $39.10 standard consultation
Level C - $130. Rebate $75.75 long consultation, multiple issues
Level D - $180. Rebate $111.70 extended consultation, multiple issues
Mental Health Treatment Plan - $150. Rebate $94.75
Mental Health Treatment Plan (Long) - $200. Rebate $141.80
Review of Plan - $130. Rebate $74.60
Antenatal Care - $60. Rebate $41.70
